Airbnb and Self-Catering
Exeter has many Airbnb and self-catering options throughout the city. When booking, look for properties in these areas for convenient access to the campus:
- Pennsylvania - Close to campus
- St James - Between city centre and campus
- Heavitree - Good bus connections
- City Centre - Walking distance or easy bus ride
Booking Tips
- Book early - April can be busy in Exeter, so we recommend booking accommodation as soon as your attendance is confirmed
- Look for deals - Many hotels offer conference or long-stay discounts
- Consider location - Staying closer to campus reduces travel time but city centre offers more evening options
- Check cancellation policies - Ensure flexibility in case of travel changes
Transportation to Campus
By Bus
Stagecoach operates regular bus services from the city centre to the Streatham Campus. The Route 4 / UNI service connects the city centre and campus (see Stagecoach information).

By Taxi
Taxis are readily available from the city centre. Approximate fare to campus: £5-8.

On Foot
The walk from the city centre to campus takes approximately 20-25 minutes and is mostly uphill. It’s a pleasant walk through residential areas and past St David’s Church.
