Airbnb and Self-Catering

Exeter has many Airbnb and self-catering options throughout the city. When booking, look for properties in these areas for convenient access to the campus:

  • Pennsylvania - Close to campus
  • St James - Between city centre and campus
  • Heavitree - Good bus connections
  • City Centre - Walking distance or easy bus ride

Booking Tips

  • Book early - April can be busy in Exeter, so we recommend booking accommodation as soon as your attendance is confirmed
  • Look for deals - Many hotels offer conference or long-stay discounts
  • Consider location - Staying closer to campus reduces travel time but city centre offers more evening options
  • Check cancellation policies - Ensure flexibility in case of travel changes

  • Bus app: Download the Stagecoach app for real-time information and fares

On Foot

The walk from the city centre to campus takes approximately 20-25 minutes and is mostly uphill. It’s a pleasant walk through residential areas and past St David’s Church.
